Our Story

Rez.Church, originally known as Loveland Assembly of God, had its first home at Seventh and Washington Streets in Loveland. It was a small fellowship of approximately 50 people when Pastor John Stocker moved from Nebraska to accept the senior pastorate in 1978. The church began to experience phenomenal growth and it was not long before the church body was meeting in school facilities and community buildings. The church became Resurrection Fellowship, an independent charismatic fellowship, in 1983 and moved into its current location July of 1989.

A New Season

A new season for Rez began when Pastor Jonathan Wiggins was elected to the position of Senior Pastor in 2010. The church was officially renamed Rez.Church to accommodate the nickname, “Rez” that it had always been unofficially recognized as. Pastor Jonathan Wiggins has equipped Rez with a compassion to walk, live and be Jesus within our homes and community. Every weekend we see men and women putting their faith in Jesus Christ and begin a walk towards fulfillment in their lives.

Mission-Minded Church

Rez is known for its dynamic worship, anointed preaching and excellence of ministry. Rez.Church is A Mission-Minded Church having given over $1,000,000 annually since 1999 and 2013 brought our best missions giving year with over $2 million given. Rez also sends short-term missions teams around the globe providing humanitarian aid and presenting the Gospel. Although Rez provides support around the globe, the nation of Israel has remained a primary focal point of giving and outreach.

Resurrection Christian School

God gave Rez a mandate to build and fund the beginning of a Christian school. Resurrection Christian School started with an elementary school building and has now grown to over 1000 students.

“Go and Make Disciples”

The reality that God has blessed Rez.Church is clear, and for this we remain thankful. It is also clear that God’s blessings are intent to be passed along to others. The facilities of Rez just over a decade ago seemed far removed from the communities we served. But today Rez is at the hub of the current and projected growth of the Northern Front Range of Colorado. Because of this, Rez has refined and renewed its focus on God’s great plan and commission for His church to “go and make disciples” with the goal of seeing every man and women and child become a life-giving follower of Jesus.

It is an exciting time to be part of Rez and we welcome you to join the team!
