How We Win
Our "win" is to safely nurture and lead kids to Jesus. Safety is ALWAYS a priority (#1 rule: a leader is NEVER alone with a child!). And teaching kids about Jesus is a big deal! Remember, Holy Spirit is empowering you, and when you bring your best, "God will do the rest!"
How We Show Up
Wear your RezKids Dream Team shirts and check in to get a VOLUNTEER sticker name tag EVERY TIME you serve! This helps identify you as a leader to kids, parents and the Watchmen Security Team. Don’t forget the most important part of your “uniform”: your smile!
Join us at the Kids Team Huddle in the RK Dream Team Room behind the kitchen at 8:15am on Sundays to be encouraged and informed on all that’s happening that day.
The “Big Huddle” with ALL Rez Dream Teams serving that Sunday is at 8:30 at Dream Team Central, next to the Table. You’ll love seeing how you are a part of the BIG Team that makes Sundays happen at Rez!
Be in your classroom/position, ready to welcome kids and families 15 minutes prior to the start of service (8:45 for the 9am service, 10:30 for the 10:45am service).
How We Prepare
You have a valuable position on the Dream Team and Sunday is "game day"! Have you “trained” throughout the week? (Spend time connecting with God through His Word and prayer, read through the lesson, learn the worship songs, pray over the kids, families and your teammates!) Are you “warmed up” on Sunday morning? (Spend time with Jesus, getting filled up with His love so you can serve out of your overflow).

You Are Vital
You are the familiar faces that help kids feel safe, secure and know that they are loved and will have FUN at RezKids.
You Promote Safety
Keep a head count throughout the service, keeping track of all children at all times! Especially between activities and if allowing children bathroom breaks. Also, keep a careful watch on kids’ interactions so you can respond right away if a conflict arises.
You Grow Disciples
When you engage with children by getting to know them, you are building relationships that allow them to trust and be open to God’s love. Ask them a high/low from the week, or learn something about their family!
You Deliver God's Love
Tell each child you are happy they are there, reminding them they are LOVED!
